Employers must tackle high level of burnout among trainees, says GMC

The results of the most recent National Training survey were recently published which has for the first time asked trainees to comment on their levels of burnout at work. Unsurprisingly a lot of trainees reported high levels of burnout.

Working with Maria Panagioti and Judith Johnson, we authored a rapid response to the article, highlighting the need for research into interventions to help junior doctors at work.
